RStresses that there are several links between prostitution and trafficking, recognises that prostitution both globally and across Europe feeds trafficking of vulnerable women and girls, and stresses that, as shown by data from the European Commission, the majority (62 %) are trafficked for sexual exploitation, and women and girls account for 80 % of identified and presumed victims;
