Highlights that traditional national minorities who have been living together with or alongside traditional majority cultures for centuries in Europe are facing the negative consequences of the migration crisis, i.e. mistrust towards non-majority autochthonous minorities; believes that the solution to this problem lies in the establishment of minimum standards on protecting the rights of traditional minorities, as preserving European heritage gives added value to diversity; emphasizes that it is necessary to draw clear distinction between national minorities, economic migrants and asylum seekers;
