Calls on Member States to use and develop ways to encourage women to choose courses and careers in the environmental, transport and energy sectors; it is especially important that Member States develop action plans to encourage women into employment in areas such as research, R&D and entrepreneurship and to encourage more women to choose courses within fields such as engineering, natural sciences, IT and other advanced technology subjects, where many of the green jobs will be in the future;
