Calls on the Commission to promote best medical practices as well as information campaigns on obesity-related risks and abdominal obesity in particular; urges the Commission to provide infexplormation about the dangers of home diets, especially if they involve the use of anti-obesity drugs taken without medical prescriptionof the potential role of clinically proven weight loss medication to complement, where appropriate, healthy diets and exercise;
