Notes that the EEAS will have its own internal audit service; stresses that the EEAS and the Commission's auditors should cooperate in order to ensure the consistency of audit policy, with particular reference to the Commission's responsibility for operational expenditureConsiders it both practical and, in the interest of sound financial management, essential that the Commission's internal auditor also have overall responsibility for the EEAS.
