Calls on the Commission to make acreate a unified Europe-wide strategy for the active avoidance of conflicts of interest as one of its priorities with an adapted strategy of ex ante and ex- post control; calls on the commission, OLAF and the future EPPO to include in this strategy the protection both of whistleblowers and of investigative journalists;
