Points out that Regulation (EC) No 1080/2006 on the European Regional Development Fund numbers among its priorities the protection and enhancement of natural and cultural heritage as offering potential for the development of sustainable tourism in the perspective of an added value, stressing the importance of an integrated and coherent approach;
