2. Urges the Turkish Government to take up reforms concerning the achievement of de facto gender equality, social security, the eliminatingon of the feminisation of poverty and violence against women, increasingby promoting the participation of women in the labour market, education and politics, with the same urgency that was given to the legislation concerning the lifting of the ban on the headscarf;
