Proposes that in the context of the Green Paper on EU territorial cohesion, to be published in autumn 2008, and in keeping with the objectives of the territorial agenda and the European Spatial Development Perspective (ESDP), the Commission should submit some specific measures to compensate for the handicappresent territorial approach to address the problems in different types of mountain regionterritories;
