Amendment 2 #
Motion for a resolution
Paragraph 1 a (new)
1a. Notes the current worrying circumstance concerning complaints in relation to management by the Secretary- General of the EESC, which could moreover represent a sanctioned case of internal complaint (whistleblowing), notes that on 21 April 2010 OLAF was contacted by a member of the EESC Bureau with a view to opening an internal investigation, a request that was also made by the Chair of Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control, points out that up to now OLAF has not yet taken the corresponding decision, which means that the complaint remains active, and takes the view that it is therefore reasonable to postpone discharge in respect of the implementation of the EESC budget until OLAF takes its decision on these complaints;
