Invites the Member States and the Commission to ensure synergies in funding under the Connecting Europe Facility, the European Structural and Investment Funds and instruments of the EIB and EBRD when implementing transport infrastructure projects in the central and eastern EU; recalls the need to use the means of the European Fund for Strategic Investments in a timely manner to advance such projects in the short term; urges the Commission to help these states present more and better projects, thus ensuring that more projects can benefit from EFSI funding;
