Recalls the Joint Declaration of the three institutions that the annual budgetary procedures applied for the MFF 2014-2020 will integrate, as appropriate, gender-responsive elements; points out the need for further efforts and for a common approach between the three institutions in order to ensure an effective gender mainstreaming in the annual budgetary procedures;

Underlines the importance of maintaining the draft budget for the budget lines "Ensuring the protection of rights and empowering citizens" and "Promoting non-discrimination and equality", implementing the programme Rights, Equality and Citizenship 2014 – 2020 and reiterates in this context that it is essential that the name Daphne and the level of financing is maintained in relation to the specific objective of the programme aimed at preventing and combating violence against children, young people and women;
