Welcomes the fact that the report on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights contains a paragraph on the directive seeking to improve the gender balance among non- executive directors of companies listed on stock exchanges, as a way of promoting fundamental rights in order to achieve genuine equality between women and men on boards of directors;
