Considers it crucial that competition policy is adequately addressed in the framework of the negotiation of bilateral trade agreements; calls for DG Competition to be actively involved in order to secure mutual recognition of competitive practices, particularly in the areas of State aids, public procurement, services, investment and trade facilitation;
