(d) Gender mMainstreaming for equality between men and women, anti- discrimination and active participation: Active inclusion policies must ensure the promotion of gender equality between men and women and contribute to the elimination of discrimination in all three pillars mentioned above; good governance, participation and integration of all relevant actors must be promoted by directly involving those affected by poverty and social exclusion, as well as social partners and non-governmental organisations, in the development, management, implementation and evaluation of strategies;
