Strongly welcomes the Commission’s intention to use economic diplomacy to open up new business opportunities for European space industry; stresses that European players in third- country markets should be supported by the Commission, the ESA and, where relevant, Member State authorities and bodies such as EASA; recommends that plans for such coordinated support be drawn up in advance;
