Recommends the extension ofat the Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Grundtvig and Comenius programmes to less affluent citizens to facilitate their mobility within the EU; draws attention to the fact that less affluent citizens currently cannot afford to participate in these programmesbe more effectively promoted and organised so as to encourage as many people as possible to take part and to facilitate their mobility within the EU;
