Stresses that the European Cloud Initiative, together with the upcoming Free Flow of Data Initiative and the legislative proposal with an aim to remove unjustified data location restrictions, have the potential to further incentivise the process of digitisation of European industry, especially SMEs and Start-ups and to avoid and counteract the fragmentation of the EU Single Market; calls on the Commission to monitor their adoption and coherent implementation in order to enable swift, trustworthy and seamless data sharing, storage and use across sectors while avoiding disproportionate burden for SMEs and Start-ups;
