Emphasises that the strengthening of policies to increase women's’s equal access to propertysavings, credit and insurance in developing countries needs to be accompanied by the requisite financial support mechanisms (such as savings, credit and insurance) and by the empowerment of women and NGOs, which includes improving women's legal and financial literacy, increasing the dissemination and accessibility of information, and establishing supporting legal services;
