Draws attention to the need to promote the active inclusion of young people, the elderly (before reaching the statutory retirement age) and migrants in any efforts to create an inclusive labour market, which necessitates certain specific supportive measures (linked to health and safety at work, reconciliation of work and non-work-life, training and lifelong learning, development of skills and capacities including language training etc.);

Calls on the Council and the Commission to tackle the problems concerning the different coordination processes (Open Method of Coordination on Social Protection and Social Inclusion, Integrated Guidelines, EU SDS) in way to provide for a clear visibility and commitment towards the eradication of poverty and the promotion of social inclusion in all of them;
