Finds it disturbing that women are continuing to suffer serious discrimination, as reflected in their unemployment rates, the more precarious forms of work in which they are employed, their lower pay, the fact that they are exposed to a higher risk of poverty and industrial accidents, and the greater difficulties that they encounter in terms of career advancement in the transition from education to the labour market and during reinsertion in the labour market after leave to care for children or relatives;
