Calls on the EU and China to develop partnerships in relation to R&D and industrial cooperation in the various growth areas within the green economy, such as recycling, efficient management of rare earth elements throughout the economic cycle, renewable energies and energy efficiency, and takes the view that the EU should step up its partnership with China on the ITER project.
