(8a) New investments in innovation and diffusion of new technologies with a view to accelerating and facilitating the transition towards a more efficient, sustainable and high-employment economy should be accompanied by a transformation of the industrial production of goods and of traditional markets in order to create an interlink between bio-based products markets and bio-energy industries.
