Welcomes the European Commission's MARELITT pilot project to remove marine litter from Europe's four regional seas and to reduce the environmental, health, economic and social impacts of marine plastic litter; suggests that the Commission steps up its dialogue with third countries, such as those with territorial waters in the Black Sea, to address the problem of marine plastic litter more effectively.
