Emphasizes that the European institutions and Member States need to undertake a holistic approach to child trafficking, which mainstreams multi- sectored interventions to protect the rights of trafficked children and children at risk of trafficking; insists that Member States to participate actively in the fight against illegal adoption and develop a framework to ensure transparency and effective monitoring of the development of the abandoned and the adopted children;
