Welcomes the take-up rate for payment appropriations for the Egnos and Galileo programmes, which consolidated the progress made in 2009; emphasises the importance of these programmes forinvestment in this sector, which has a knock-on effect on all EU policies and, in particular, on the logistics and, sustainable transport sectorsand transport safety sectors; calls on the Commission to ensure that adequate funding is also provided in the future for Egnos and Galileo research and development;
