Calls on Member States and stakeholders to share and make available best practices, combining knowledge from relevant forums and platforms e.g. through the Consumer Goods Forum; considers in this context that food waste can be reduced through greater cooperation between consumers, the retail trade, food producers, packaging manufacturers, schools and other actors in the non-profit and state sectors; calls therefore for the creation of an EU-based web platform that is open to all actors and disseminates knowledge on food waste prevention.
