Calls on Member States to strengthenencourage gender mainstreaming in the implementation of their national Roma inclusion strategies and to connect their implementation with existing gender equality strategies, in particular by establishing the elimination of the pay gap within Roma communities as an explicit objectiveestablishing more explicitly the goal of economic stability for women in the Roma community and taking genuine steps to achieve this, including by eliminating the gender pay gap;

Urges the Member States to implement, in line with their strategies, specialised sex education programmes for young girls and women in the Roma community aimed at overcoming any health problems stemming from their sexual abuse and stopping early pregnancy, which carries with it risks of a physical and psychological nature;
