20a. Is of the opinion that ensuring a fit for purpose regulatory environment is a key element to protect public health and provide access to high quality medicines. The effective use of Information Technology systems will improve regulatory efficiency across Europe; therefore, urges the Commission to optimize the European regulatory framework by harmonising regulatory telematics projects with a focus on data quality, interoperability and inter- dependency of the European regulatory framework.

28a. Patients should benefit from the most up to date information regarding their medicines, therefore urges the Commission to develop further electronic product information, including thee- leaflet to improve regulatory efficiency and empower patients with up to date information on medicines.
