Points out that employment rates for both men and women are lower in rural areas and this is to the detriment of the countryside in terms of lack of availability of quality jobs; in addition, many women are not part of the official labour market and therefore do not count as registered unemployed, and are thus faced with financial and legal problems regarding maternity rights, sick leave and acquisition of pension rights;
