(d) Gender mainstreaming, anti- discrimination and active participation: Active inclusion policies must ensure the promotion of gender equality and contribute to the elimination of discrimination in all three pillars mentioned above; g, and, in particular, genuinely guarantee the right to a fair trial, including in civil cases. Good governance, participation and integration of all relevant actors must be promoted by directly involving those affected by poverty and social exclusion, as well as social partners and non-governmental organisations, in the development, management, implementation and evaluation of strategies;
