Congratulates the Croatian authorities on the positive results achieved so far, particularly with regard to the number of negotiation chapters which have been opened; observes that the pace of negotiations reflects progress in introducing the necessary reforms in each applicant country and that final accession procedures are conditioned by effective compliance with the Copenhagen criteria;
