Calls on the Skopje government to abandon the use of the Greek name ‘Macedonia’ (or derivatives of that name) and to proceed with the adoption of a new commonly acceptable designation, such as, for example ‘Vardarska’ (the official name until 1945) so as to overcome the impasse and usher in peace, genuine understanding and cooperation in the region.
