Welcomes the proposal for a Migration and Asylum Fund, in particular the external dimension thereof, which must dovetail with other areas of EU external action, in particular its development and external aid policies, and must as well closely cooperate with the external financial instruments, in order to ensure funding optimisation and to avoid any dublications;
