Considers it important to ensure the complementarity of maritime capacity- building efforts in order to safeguard maritime security more efficiently; welcomes increased EU-NATO operational cooperation and coordination in the Mediterranean theatre, including the sharing of maritime information and situational awareness; considers also that increased EU-NATO cooperation on mobility and flexibility in aviation is needed;
