M. whereas New Zealand has also contributed to UN peacekeeping operations, including in Bosnia, Kosovo and Sierra Leone, has carried out police training missions in Afghanistan since 2005, and continues toled a provincial reconstruction team in the Bamyan province in Afghanistan as well as training missions to help develop the Afghan National Army and contributed to the EUPOL missions in Afghanistan from 2003 to 2012;
