Urges the Member States to guarantee that existing and future legal frameworks include provisions for preventing and addressing the multiplevoiding any forms of discrimination faced byagainst Roma women in order to improve their socio-economic status and to ensure their access to quality health care, child care and education as preconditions for future employment;

Calls on the governments of the Member States to improve Roma women’s economic independence by promoting an easy self-employment start-up of SMEs, access to micro-credits, and by stimulating a service economy within their own settlements (e.g. small supermarkets, restaurants and repair shops) to expand Roma women's knowledge and expertise)with a view to fostering female entrepreneurship;
