Affirms the need for a more committed policy on social, cultural and political rights and in the areas of promoting the freedom of ‘old’ and ‘new’ media, protecting the media, reducing the digital divide and facilitating internet access; highlights the crucial role in the democratisation process of a statutory framework to strengthen SMEs and entrepreneurs, in combination with a commitment from the grass roots of society;
