Takes the view that the authority and independence of the Members of the Court of Auditors would be strengthened if the nominees were to be proposed on the recommendation of each country's supreme national audit institution; takes the view, further, that such a procedure would also serve to improve cooperation between the Court of Auditors and national audit institutions;
