Distributors shall, on the basis of a reasoned request from the competent national authorities, provide them with all the information and documentation necessary to demonstrate the confthe contact details of the manufacturer orm ity of the construction product with the declared performances authorised representative or of the importer. They shall cooperate with those authorities, at the request of the latter, on any action to avoid the risks posed by construction products which they have made available on the market.

The European Technical Assessment (ETA) shall be issued by a Technical Assessment Body, for any construction product which does not fall within the scope of a harmonised European standard, at the request of a manufacturer or importer on the basis of a EAD in accordance with the procedure set out in Annex II.
