Is concerned about limited intergenerational social mobility and increasing income inequality; stresses that national tax and benefit systems must be designed in a way that reduces inequalities, promotes fairness and provides incentives for labour market participation; Therefore, taxation should be shifted away from labour towards other sources where it will have a less harmful effect on inclusive growth and at the same time ensure the full alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the climate and environmental objectives as defined in the European Green Deal;
