Believes that consolidation within the telecommunications and internet service providers sector could have a significant positive effect on competition within the Union; calls on the Commission to revisit the current market definition to frame new market realities, where traditional markets are increasingly becoming global and cross sector; underlines that competition policy must support net neutrality and prevent all attempts to undermine it;
