Stresses that the European Union is responsible for 1% of global algae production, and therefore considers that sea algae production should be encouraged by Member States and the EMFAF; notes the initiatives included in the Commission’s strategy and invites the Commission to consider all of the solutions for developing possibilities for algae production and use, and also to consider the financing options for accelerating algae production
