Notes that the impact of the Russian import ban on agricultural products, which struck mid-way through 2014, is a major challenge and advocates eliminating the unearned advantages; calls on the Commission to resume dialogue with the Russian authorities in order to find a solution to the mutual sanctions that have a direct impact on the EU agricultural sector;
