Highlights that cultural tourism accounts for 40% of all European tourism and 4 out of 10 tourists choose their destination based on its cultural offering; stresses the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 on the tourism and travel sector; therefore calls for the development of Crisis Management Mechanism with concrete measures in order to answer to the needs of the tourism industry, especially SMEs for the revival of cultural tourism;
