E. whereas the major European political parties appearre each getting ready to nominathave their own candidates for the Presidency of the Commission, in the expectation that those candidates will play a leading role in the parliamentary electoral campaign, in particular by personally presenting their political programme democratically selected by the party members, in the expectation that those candidates, representing all the European political parties, should play a leading role in the parliamentary electoral campaign, in particular by personally presenting the political programmes of their respective European political parties for the future development of the EU, as well as personifying the political profile and future policy of the EU Commission, and, to that end, actively campaigning in all of the EU Member States;
