Underlines that financing for the European Social Fund should be significantly increased in order to provide adequate resources for measures and activities under the Social Inclusion Strategy and the ‘Europe 2020’ flagship initiative on combating poverty and social exclusion so as to strengthen measures to improve education and training with a view to improving labour market access and combating unemployment;
