Calls on the Commission and the Member States to step up their activitieefforts as regards implementing awareness-raising campaigns concerning the eCall system and its benefitsand extensive information of the institutional actors involved and the public concerning the contribution of the eCall system and its benefits in the area of transport and, especially, in the sector of security for Europe’s citizens;
