Highlights the centrality of agriculture to the social cohesionand economic fabric of a society owing to its role in economic growth and, diversification and cohesion, and in fixing populations in rural areas; stresses the need to strengthen the CAP budget and to ensure social fairnessat the resources of the CAP budget must be used optimally and that social justice must be ensured in its implementation;
