Stresses that the situation in which Member States fail to submit data in time or to submit accurate data is one that has been recurring for many years; points out that it is impossible to make comparisons and an objective assessment of the scale of fraud in the EU Member States; notes that Parliament, the Commission, and OLAF cannot properly fulfil their task of assessing the situation and making recommendations; reiterates, therefore, that this state of affairs should not be tolerated;
